Umoya Umbrellas, the distributor of the EASYWIND® patented sun umbrellas in the SADEC countries, is a division of Coza Investments Pty Ltd.
Umoya is a Xhosa word that means “the air” – whilst easywind would have translated as Umoya Kulula.
All our umbrellas, central post and cantilever, are equipped with the EASYWIND ® system. With the EASYWIND ® system, the umbrella automatically adapts its shape, the canopy reduces its wind surface depending on the gusts of wind. This allows the parasol to resist strong winds of more than 34km per hour.
No Intervention from the customer is required.
How does it work? Fiberglass ribs are integrated into the canopy, allowing it to torch above the frame of the umbrella and significantly reduce its wind surface.

During light wind, it looks like a traditional umbrella During strong wind, the EASYWIND ® system keeps the umbrella from flying off or breaking. When the wind intensity decreases, the umbrella returns to its original shape.
